How does the reward simulator work?

Enter your desired redemption (flight, hotel, etc.) and your points balance. The simulator calculates the cents-per-point (CPP) value and tells you whether the transfer is a good deal compared to booking with cash.

What is a good cents per point (CPP) value?

For Chase Ultimate Rewards, 1.5 cpp is good and 2+ cpp is excellent. For Amex Membership Rewards, 1.0 cpp is the baseline and 2+ cpp is a great transfer. Values below 1 cpp are generally poor.

Should I transfer points or book through the portal?

Transfer partners offer higher potential value (often 2-5 cpp for premium cabins) but less flexibility. Portal bookings are simpler and typically worth 1-1.5 cpp, making them better for domestic economy flights.
