Discover has announced the Q2 2026 categories for the Discover it Cash Back card:

• •Gas Stations (including EV charging stations)
• •Home Improvement Stores (Home Depot, Lowe's, Menards, etc.)

As always, you'll earn 5% cash back on up to $1,500 in combined purchases in these categories (then 1%). Don't forget to activate your bonus category — you can do this in the Discover app or online.

Pro tip: If you have the Discover it first-year cashback match, these categories effectively earn 10% back. That's up to $150 in bonus cashback this quarter alone.

Q1 categories (restaurants and Walmart) end March 31.
